Activity Summary:
In order to further implement the public's right to know, participate, and supervise the ecological environment, and to enhance the awareness and behavior of ecological civilization in the whole society, on the afternoon of May 31, 2022, our company invited relevant personnel from Pingxiang City Industry and Information Technology Bureau and Anyuan District Industry and Information Technology Bureau to visit our company and understand the construction and operation of the waste catalyst (solid waste) regeneration project and supporting environmental protection facilities.
Our staff first introduced the basic situation of catalysts and catalyst recycling to the visitors, giving them a basic and vivid understanding of the catalyst and catalyst recycling industry. Then, under the guidance of the staff, everyone visited the hazardous waste storage room, recycling workshop, and waste gas treatment facilities in sequence.
The hazardous waste temporary storage room is the first storage area for waste catalysts after they arrive at the factory. The temporary storage room is a fully enclosed warehouse with anti-seepage and anti-corrosion treatment on the ground. There are four forced exhaust ports on the top of the warehouse. The waste gas in the warehouse is discharged after adsorption treatment in the activated carbon adsorption box outside the warehouse through the exhaust pipe, purifying the air inside the warehouse. After being taken out of the warehouse, the waste catalyst undergoes a screening process, high-temperature activation roasting, and secondary screening to obtain activated catalyst again, which is finally packaged and stored. The exhaust gas generated by high-temperature roasting is discharged in compliance with standards after passing through a bag filter for dust removal, a VOC (CO) removal reactor, and a denitrification (ammonia reduction) reactor.
This regeneration project can process 2425 tons of waste catalyst annually, generating nearly 30 million economic benefits. It is a win-win project that not only protects the environment but also creates economic benefits.
Through this open event, the visitors gained a more intuitive and detailed understanding of the entire process of regenerating waste catalysts. With the explanation of the staff, the most concerning issue of environmental pollution during the regeneration process was further understood, that is, through scientific, standardized, and professional pollution prevention and control facilities, emissions can meet standards and protect the ecological environment.
